Consumption of foods such as fruits and vegetables having antioxidant effect should be increased;
Weekly meat consumption should be reduced and fish, chicken and turkey should be preferred instead of red meat;
A sufficient amount of protein should be taken from combinations of legume and cereals or vegetables;
Total fat consumption should be reduced, and instead of solid fats, liquid oils or especialy olive oil should be used;
Dietary fiber consumption should increased. Legume, creals, fruits and vegetables are good fiber sources;
Smoking or alcohol should be avoided or reduced;
Exercises should be increased up to at least 3 or 4 times and one and half hour weekly;
